HFL, part of the Hinduja Group, is primarily engaged in the manufacture of ferrous castings for automobiles. The company is among the larger iron casting foundries for automotive jobbing in India, with manufacturing locations spread across Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. Commencing operations with an initial capacity of 1,000 Metric Tonnes Per Annum (MTPA) in 1961, HFL gradually expanded its capacity over the years to over 1,00,000 MTPA at present.
