Maanheruka Group manufactures diversified products which include steel products like Sponge Iron, M.S. Ingot/ Billet H.D.P.E bags, Mustard Oil, Mustard Cake etc. Dhanbad Fuels belonging to the group produces sponge iron from its plant in Mangalpur in West Bengal.
Founded in 1989, the company has two Units. The Company is successfully running a Sponge Iron plant at Raniganj with an annual capacity of 45000 MT. Initially, the company was into the processing of iron and steel scraps. After experiencing considerable success in the field, the company established an Sponge Iron Plant in the year 2001-2002 with an annual Capacity of 15000 MT. After the boom in the demand of Steel in India and abroad, the company decided to expand their Capacity and by 2007, the Annual capacity of the Sponge Iron Plant reached to 45000 MT after several expansions.
