About the Company :

TSPPL, incorporated in 2004, is a part of the Topworth group. The Topworth group has a presence in metal, mining, infrastructure and power sector. The group is promoted by Mr Abhay Lodha, who is involved in the investment decisions of the group and has more than a decade of experience in steel trading and manufacturing.

TSPPL is in the business of manufacturing of sponge iron, structurals and billets with manufacturing facilities and captive power plant located at Durg, Chhattisgarh. Besides, the company is engaged in the trading of hot rolled coil (HRC) steel products. As on March 31, 2014, TSPPL had installed capacity of 1.65 lakh tonnes per annum (tpa) for sponge iron (DRI), 1.80 lakh tpa for the production of billets, 4.50 lakh tpa for the production of structurals and captive power plant of 20 mega watt (MW).

TSPPL reported a total income and a PAT of Rs.2,727 crore and Rs.32 crore, respectively, in FY14 (refers to the period April 1 to March 31) compared with Rs.2,351 crore and Rs.43 crore, respectively, in FY13.
