SSPPL was incorporated in 2021. As a majority owned (97.99% stake) subsidiary of RIPPL, the company manufactures sponge iron and ferro alloys. Its unit, located in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh, has an installed capacity of 60,000 MTPA for sponge iron and 12,000 MTPA for ferro alloys. The company has been promoted by members of the Agrawal family, based in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh. Operations are presently managed by Mr. Kamal Kishor Agrawal and Mr Dhruv Kumar Agrawal.
