About the Company :
Incorporated in 2002, SIPL is a part of the Srithik Group and is engaged in the manufacturing of sponge iron from iron ore and coal. SIPL has an installed capacity of 18,000 Metric Tonnes Per Annum (MTPA) at its manufacturing facility in Sanguem, Goa. SIPL procures iron ore from the states of Karnataka and Goa and imports coal from South Africa and Indonesia. More than 70% of the sponge iron produced is sold to its group company Prateek Alloys Pvt Ltd (PAPL), which manufactures MS Ingots and the rest is sold to other steel manufactures in Goa.
