N R Ispat & Power Pvt Ltd incorporated in 2008, is engaged in manufacturing sponge iron and mild steel (MS) ingots from its manufacturing facility located at Raigarh in Chhattisgarh. The company currently has a sponge iron manufacturing capacity of 60,000 tonnes per annum (TPA), while its MS ingot manufacturing capacity has recently been augmented to around 40,000 TPA. In addition, the company has also installed a 4MW waste heat recovery plant and another 4MW coal based power plant in its manufacturing facility. NRIPPL registered a profit after tax of Rs 1.46 crore on the back of operating income of Rs 104.52 crore in 2013-14. In 2012-13, the company registered a profit after tax of Rs 1.34 crore on the back of operating income of Rs 94.07 crore.
