About the Company :

MCL Global Steel Pvt Ltd. (MCLG) was incorporated in January 2010. The company proposes to set up a steel melting shop at Mega Projects Zone in Pithampur. The plant will have capacity of 208000 tons per annum (TPA) is to produce billets & blooms with steel grades ranging from stainless steels, carbon steels and alloy steel grades. The flagship Company, Mittal Corp Ltd, manufacture stainless steel billets and roll the same into flats /rounds with a capacity of 120, 000 TPA. They have also set up Steel Wire Rod & Bar Mill producing wire rods of all types of stainless steel, alloy steel, mild steel and medium carbon having a capacity of 150,000 TPA. Wire rod is a rolled steel product produced from semis such as billets and blooms and is wound into coils. This unit has commenced its operations from Sept 2012.

The Steel melting shop project is being executed as a backward integration strategy and is located in the same area where MCL already has two manufacturing units. The end products are Billets, Blooms and Rounds, out of which major production will be supplied to Unit II of MCL and the balance will be sold in the domestic as well as the international market.
