About the Company :
Madhav Alloys Pvt Ltd (MAPL) was incorporated by Mr Dev Dutt Goyal in June 2003. The company is engaged in the manufacturing of TMT bars and steel structure products such as MS angles, MS channels & MS Beams with an installed capacity of 150,000 Metric Tonnes Per Annum (MTPA) for structural steel and 50,000 MTPA for TMT bars at its plant situated at Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab. It has two units out of which one unit is taken on lease from one of its group companies Madhav Steelco Ltd. The company commissioned an induction furnace at Akalgarh, Patiala with a capacity of 1,50,000 MTPA for manufacturing of billets.
The billets manufactured at Akalgarh plant are for captive consumption, major share of which is consumed by Madhav Udyog Private Limited (MUPL) which is into production of TMT bars, and the remaining portion is consumed by MAPL. MAPL reported a total operational income of Rs.740.68 crore (PY: Rs.724.38 crore) and net profit of Rs.1.85 crore (PY: Rs.1.52 crore) in FY14 (refers to the period April 01 to March 31).
