India Steel Works Limited (ISWL) was established in 1990 with a bright bar capacity of 8,000 tonnes per annum (TPA). The company is listed on Bombay Stock Exchange since 1992. The company went into backward integration in 1994 by setting up a steel melting shop and hot-rolling facility at its manufacturing plant in Khopoli. ISWL has an integrated stainless steel manufacturing facility and is involved in manufacturing wide range of stainless steel grade billets, wire rods and bright bars. ISWL has a installed capacity of 81,000 TPA of for steel billets, 1,20,000 TPA of wire rods, 60,000 TPA of bars & 12,000 TPA bright bar at Khopoli in Maharashtra.
