Gallantt Ispat Ltd, a part of Gallantt Group, was incorporated in 2005. The Company is an ISO 9001:2008 and ISI certified and listed on both Bombay Stock Exchange & National Stock Exchange. Its registered office is located in Kolkata, West Bengal.
The company is engaged in manufacturing of Sponge Iron, MS Billets and Re-Rolled products (TMT bars). The manufacturing facility is located in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, with an installed capacity for Sponge Iron of 99000 MTPA and for MS Billets and Re-Rolled products (TMT) it is 167400 MTPA and 162380 MTPA respectively. Apart from this, the Company operates wheat flour mill and also engaged in real estate business in collaboration with Shalimar Corporation Limited.
The Board of Directors of GIL includes Mr. Chandra Prakash Agrawal, Mr. Santosh Kumar Agrawal, Mr. Prem Prakash Agrawal, Mr. Nitin M Kandoi, Mr. Jyotirindra Nath Dey, Mr. Piyush Kankrania and Mrs. Sangeeta Upadhyay. Mr. Chandra Prakash Agrawal is the promoter director of the Company and has extensive experience of more than three decades in the business.
