About the Company :
Drolia Electrosteels Pvt Ltd was set up in 1995 by Mr Din Dayal Drolia and his son, Mr Rajiv Drolia. The company manufactures sponge iron and mild steel billets and has an installed capacity to manufacture 60,000 tonnes per annum (tpa) and 105,000 tpa of sponge iron and steel billets, respectively. The manufacturing plant is located in Siltara village near Raipur (Chhattisgarh) and to support the manufacturing operations, DEPL has commissioned its 11-megawatt captive power plant in May 2010.
During FY14, DEPL posted total income of Rs.232.12 crore and PAT of Rs. 1.46 crore compared to total income of Rs.209.77 crore and loss of Rs.4.36 crore in FY13. During 9MFY15 (refers to the period April 1 to December 31), DEPL posted total income of Rs.198.12 crore and PAT of Rs.3.03 crore.
