Chhattisgarh Steel & Power had set up a steel plant of Sponge Iron (3,15,000 TPA), Billets / Ingots / Blooms (12,82,000 TPA), Rolled Products (2,10,000 TPA), Ferro Alloys (30,000 TPA), along with Captive Power Plant (WHRB, 22.5 MW and AFBC at village Amjhar in Tehsil Champa in Janjgir-Champa district of Chhattisgarh. The project will use the raw material like Coal (16,32,000 TPA), Iron ore (5,04,300 TPA), Dolomite (12,600 TPA), Char / dolochar (1,20,000 TPA).
