Bishwanath Ferro Alloys Ltd was set up as a private limited company in 1999 and later reconstituted as public limited company in 2002. The company manufactures sponge iron, pig iron and ferro alloys and has a production capacity of 45000 tpa of sponge iron and 15000 tpa of pig iron. The company has deferred the project of setting up a billet plant in Giridh but plans to set up a sinter plant with an investment of Rs. 200 million.
