Established in 1977, Benara Udyog supplies its products to the LCV and HCV segments including tractors, two wheelers, three wheelers and passenger cars. Its plant is located at Agra, Uttar Pradesh with a production capacity of 1.5 mn per month. Its capacity utilisation is more than 80%. It caters to the OEM and replacement markets at the domestic and international level.
The company earns 50% of its revenue from the domestic market. Benara Udyog clients include Tata Motors, Eicher Motor, Yamaha Motors Limited, Greaves, Mahindra & Mahindra, Sonalika International, Hindustan Motors, Calcutta State Road Transport Corporation, Delhi Transport Corporation, Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation, UP State Road Transport Corporation, Autolec Industries Ltd, Swaraj Mazda and Raunaq Automotive among others. Benara Udyog formed a technical collaboration in 1997 with NTE, South Korea for manufacturing bearings and bushes. The company is accredited with ISO 9001: 2000 certification.
