About the Company :
NIPL is a wholly owned subsidiary of JBIL located in Kandra near Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. Currently, it manufactures 1,05,000 tonnes of DRI per annum, and work on increasing its capacity by 60,000 tonnes per annum has been initiated. The company has been allotted the Dumri Coal Block for captive mining from the Government of India, about 300 kms from the plant.
