About the Company :
Maruti Ispat & Energy Pvt Ltd was incorporated in December 2007 at Hyderabad, Telangana and commenced operations from April 2010. The company is engaged in the manufacturing of Sponge Iron. The manufacturing facility is located in Kurnool district, Andhra Pradesh. The installed capacity of the plant is 200 TPD (Tons per day). Capacity utilization of the plant is declined from 65.37 % in FY16 (provisional basis) compared to 83.79 % in FY15. The company caters to the sponge iron requirement of MS Agarwal Foundries Pvt Ltd and Agarwal Foundries.
Ongoing Project:
The company plans to set up a 8 MW Cogen power plant for captive consumption of group entities and expansion of current installed capacity of the plant to 400 TPD from present capacity of 200 TPD. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 90.80 Crs, proposed to be funded by promoter’s contribution of Rs. 30.30 Crs and debt of Rs. 60.50 Crs.The entire power generated will be consumed in-house by the company and its group entities. The project has commenced in July 2016, the new Sponge Iron plant is expected to be completed in October 2017 and the Cogen power plant is expected to be completed in April 2018.
