Incorporated as a Private Limited Company in 2006, Mandovi Casting Private Limited (MCPL) was promoted by Mr. Rajendra Prasad Singla and Mr. Vijendra Kumar. In 2005, MCPL was taken over by Mr. Sandeep Agarwal from EDC (Economic Development Corporation), Goa as it was declared a sick unit by the Institute. Mandovi Casting Private Limited is engaged in manufacturing of Mild Steel Ingots through induction furnace route. The company has a registered office in Panjim, Goa and a manufacturing facility at Kundaim Industrial Estate, Goa. MCPL has two group concerns – Mohit Steel Industries Pvt Ltd and Hare Krishna Metallics Pvt. Ltd . Mohit Steel Industries Pvt Ltd is also engaged in manufacturing of MS Ingots whereas Hare Krishna Metallics Pvt. Ltd is engaged in sponge iron production and power generation.
