BPA Metallics Pvt Ltd is planning a integrated steel plant in Patrapali village in Kotmar in Raigarh Tehsil of Chhattisgarh. The project involves setting up of 717000 tpa of sponge iron plant, iron ore beneficiation plant of 1,000,000 tpa, mild steel billets of 582,000 tpa, pig iron plant of 1,92,000 tpa, ferro alloys plant of 120000 tpa, captive power plant of 131 MW of which 56 MW is based on WHRB and rest based on coal. As of Jan 2025, the project is in planning stage.
