MOIL Ltd (Manganese Ores India Ltd) is set to commence production of Parsoda manganese mines in Nagpur in Maharashtra. The company has been awarded the mines for a period of 50 years lease. The company has invested around ₹ 195 million towards the project. It will adopt open cast mining method to extract manganese ore. It may be noted that, MOIL operates 10 mines in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.
