Shivam Iron plans expansion programme at Jambad

Shivam Iron is planning to expand its steel melting shop in Jambad village in Giridh district of Jharkhand. The project involves setting up of continuous casting machine for 2 x 12 T induction furnace and a rolling mill with a capacity of 54,000 tpa. The project also involves expanding its ferro alloy division capacity from 12,000 tpa to 20,000 tpa by setting up a 2 x 6 MVA submerged arc furnace units. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 3070 million.
