Srikalahasthi Pipes Limited (SPL, erstwhile Lanco Industries Ltd), incorporated in 1991, is engaged in the manufacturing of Ductile Iron (DI) pipes, pig iron and portland slag cement with DI pipes being the main product. The current promoter of the company, Electrosteel Castings Ltd (ECL), took over the controlling stake in SPL from the Lanco group of Hyderabad in 2002. SPL, along with its promoter company, ECL, currently enjoys a significant market share in the domestic DI pipe segment.
In December 2017, the company has raised ?250 crore through Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP)
