Jay Jagdamba Stainless Steel Ltd is planning to expand its steel unit in Abitghar in Wada Tehsil in Thane district of Maharashtra. The project involves expanding manufacturing facilities to increase production capacity from 1800 tpm to 10,000 tpm. The plant will produce mild steel, stainless steel, alloy steel billets and ingots. Land required for the project is around 10 acres which is already available. The project cost is estimated at ₹ 200 million. As of January 2019, the project is in planning stage.
