New Steel Trading is planning to expand its steel unit in Vasuri Khurd in Wada Tehsil in Palghar district of Maharashtra. The project involves expanding mild steel billets production capacity from 31,200 tpa to 76,200 tpa by installing an additional induction furnace unit of 1 x 15 T.
It will also produce TMT bars and the plant has a rolling mill which has production capacity of 76,200 tpa. The project cost is estimated at ₹ 800 million.
