Hindustan Zinc Ltd is planning to set up a hydrated lime plant in Chanderia and Dariba smelter complex in Rajasthan. The company has invited bids in April 2018, to award the project. The project involves setting up of a milk of lime plant to produce calcium hydroxide and quick lime (calcium oxide) for the requirement of smelting and refining operations.
